1. Getting in Touch with your Fitted Furniture Needs

Whether you contact us by phone, email, through our website or by visiting our showroom, we’re always happy to chat through your ideas and answer your initial questions.

We’ll explain how the process works, discuss your requirements and help you decide whether a home visit or showroom visit would be the best next step.

Our aim is to make the whole experience straightforward and enjoyable, taking away the stress and confusion so you can start looking forward to your new fitted furniture.

2. Designing Your Bespoke Fitted Furniture

Your home or showroom visit is where your ideas really begin to take shape.

We’ll explore your storage requirements, discuss how you’d like your furniture to look and guide you through the choices available, including door styles, colours, finishes and handles.

We’ll also suggest practical storage solutions tailored to your space, helping you make the most of every available centimetre while creating furniture that complements your home and lifestyle.

3. Refining Your Furniture Design and Placing Your Order

Once we’ve prepared your initial design and proposal, we’ll be on hand to answer any questions and talk through the details with you.

Perhaps you’d like to adjust the layout, explore a different finish or rethink how your storage is organised. We’ll work with you to refine the design until you’re happy with the proposed furniture and understand exactly what your order includes.

There’s no hard sell at Harmony. We believe in offering honest advice, helping you make the right decisions for your home and giving you the confidence to move forward when you’re ready.

4. Preparing for Furniture Installation

Once you’ve decided to go ahead, we’ll confirm your fitting dates and send you the relevant order paperwork for review and signature.

We’ll also explain any outstanding details that need to be finalised before manufacture and installation, along with the deadlines we need to work to to keep everything on schedule.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your order, with the remaining 50% balance payable upon completion of your installation.

We’ll keep you informed about the next steps, so you know what to expect and when.

5. Manufacturing and Fitting your Custom Furniture

This is where your bespoke furniture starts to become a reality!

Your furniture’s front frames and internal storage are manufactured in our own workshop in Basingstoke, with custom-sized fronts sourced from our suppliers to suit your specific design and measurements.

Because we have our own workshop and showroom, we can take great pride in the craftsmanship and attention to detail that go into every project.

Our experienced fitting team then installs your furniture with care and consideration for both your home and your belongings, working to your agreed design and taking pride in achieving a quality finish.

6. The Finishing Touches to your Custom Storage

We want you to be delighted with your new fitted furniture.

Once the installation is complete, our team will walk through the finished work with you, noting any outstanding adjustments or remedial items that may need attention.

We’ll make arrangements to address these where necessary, and once your final balance payment has cleared, we’ll provide your furniture guarantee and care instructions.

It’s important to us that you know how to look after your new furniture and have the information you need for the years ahead.
