As part of your fitted furniture order, we can cost for any of the following pre-works which you may need carrying out:

• Removal & Disposal of your existing furniture (that’s us!)

• Plaster boarding (us again!)

• Electrical Works

• Plastering

• Decorating

Just let us know during your fitted furniture home visit and we will discuss pre-work options with you.  Should you go ahead, we will let you know who will be with you and when in line with your furniture installation.

We fully vet our sub-contractors (ensuring their insurances are up-to-date too), often getting them involved in projects in our home first before we introduce them to our customers to ensure they meet our high standards!  Our team are fully aware of how we work and we’ll communicate with you throughout.

Here’s some useful points to consider when thinking about pre-works alongside your bespoke storage needs:

• If we’re removing and disposing of your furniture, we will let you know what’s needed before we’re with you, including advising that all items will need to fully emptied and ready for us to dismantle and take away.
• Electrical work is completed with the assumption that your home meets with current electrical regulations and all work will be certified.  Minimal making good is done by the electricians so it’s worth chatting with us about making good of areas where any work has been carried out.
• Any fixtures and fittings in the room need to be considered and removed before any plastering or decoration works take place as they will plaster and decorate up to any fixings in place at the time of their visit.
• We do ask for sufficient space for us and our sub-contractors to work in and will dust sheet through walkways and the room(s) everyone is working in.
