Here’s just some of the specifications for our Komandor sliding system:

• Aluminium sliding door profile handles fully tested during pressing, coating and profile anodising.
• Matching decorative bars.
• Mirror and glass which meet BS6206 safety requirements.
• Anti-jumping function which protects the doors from falling out of the bottom track.
• Hidden running system.
• Buffer strips to protect against vibrations when closing, as well as protection from dust.
• Rollers with bearings for ease of closing for lighter doors.

• Soft closing mechanisms.
• Error elimination system and safety testings carried out by Komandor to ISO9001 Quality System standards.

We are always on hand to help with your design and storage queries but here is some general sizing information and recommendations to consider when planning your wardrobe:

• Standard recommended sliding wardrobe depth is 610mm to ensure good hanger clearance.  Wardrobe depth can be made shallower dependant on your internal storage needs.
• Maximum recommended door height is 2541mm.  However we can increase the door height to 2651mm for taller ceilings for a 10% surcharge and we will advise on design options.
• Minimum door width we recommend is 650mm which will come with soft close mechanisms. We can reduce this to 500mm but the doors will come with no soft close option.
• The largest door we manufacture and recommend would be 1220mm wide.
• The narrowest opening where sliding wardrobes could be fitted is 1000mm.
